Sales Representative - Compensation: Salaried in Ladson, South Carolina

Job Location: One position Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh NC
Biotech company is seeking a Sales Representative to market its product in NC. Company sells biological research products and other lab supplies used in academic and research institution. The sales representative will be responsible for sales activities from lead generation through final sale in the assigned territory. Intial training will be provided to selected candidate. Develop and implement agreed upon Marketing Plan which will help meet both personal and business goals in the marketing area. Works independently, ?generate leads expand customer base, provide exceptional customer satisfaction?.
 
Responsibilities:
Develop annual business plan in conjunction with company executive, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year.
Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in increase of market share.
Develops a database of qualified leads using various techniques.
Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
Maintain contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Build trust, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
 Skill and Qualifications:
Bachelor degree, preferred in Biology or any allied subject of Science.
Required to travel in the assigned territory.
Motivated to work hard and excel.
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge.
Sales experience in scientific industry desirable.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics desirable.
Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models desirable.
